WCS-India Internship: Elephant distribution survey in Kerala

Wildlife Conservation Society-India is hiring interns under a project on “Elephant distribution survey in Kerala”, which is scheduled to start from May 2019.

Essential Qualifications:

1.     Bachelors or Master’s degree in a related field

2.     Good communication skills in Malayalam and English.

3.     Valid geared two-wheeler license and willingness to drive.

Desirable Qualification: 

1.    Can commit up to a period of 8 months.

2.    Prior field experience with wildlife research or conservation

Description of Work:

The selected candidate is expected to travel extensively in Kerala and conduct questionnaire surveys and interact with local people and Forest Department personnel to gather information and be able to work well in a team.
